Are the window frames real?
The window murals are a flat two dimensional image. The computer program that creates the image which makes the frame and the shadows appear to be three dimensional, is so convincing that people will touch the window to make sure it isn't real. The mural is trimmed to the shadow details to enhance this effect.

Can I install the windows by myself?
The windows are attached with double faced tape segments and are easily installed. Simply remove the backing from the top layer of tape, place the window in a level position where you want it to be. We suggest then, that you lightly press the tape spots to just barely to hold the window in place, double check the level and location and reposition if necessary. When you are satisfied, push firmly on the top tape segments to secure the window, remove the backing on the remaining bottom tape segments and press firmly to install the mural in place.

Can they be removed once they are installed?
Probably. If you carefully roll and peel back the window at the top and bottom tape points you can usually remove the window mural laminate from the tape. The tape then can probably be rolled carefully off the wall surface with little or no damage.

What kind of laminate would I need?
Both look good, however, we recommend matte for its softer look which eliminates glare problems from sunlight or local light glare, especially for the multiple mural sets. If the window is to be in a darker location without light glare or a bathroom with some moisture, gloss, with its sharper look, works best.

Can the windows be cleaned?
The laminate can be cleaned. Use a soft clean cloth and wipe carefully using water or a windex like cleaner to avoid scratching.

How are they shipped and how long does it take for shipping?
They are rolled and shipped in a box. Because they are laminated on both sides they usually revert to a flat shape when removed from the box. We usually ship via Fedex Ground for domestic shipments. They ship in 3-5 days. For Canadian, International and destinations outside the continental U.S., Airmail Parcel Post tends to be the best value which takes about 4 -10 days. We can use all other carriers by request.

Do you have a catalog available?
Our selection of window styles and views are available only on our internet site at this time. Can I get all the views on your site in any window style?

Can I use a personal picture I have taken as the window scene?
Yes, You can customize any frame series with your personal photo if there are no copyright issues. Be advised that many times, cell phone and digital camera pictures are of too low a resolution to be enlarged into a good window mural image. Film pictures are usually better to scan from. Can I use a picture I have found on the internet or a publication to use as a window scene?
Probably not. Internet and magazine pictures generally do not have a resolution that can be used and all pictures we use must be copyright free.

Can I make the window dimensions smaller or larger?

How durable are the windows?
Our Window Mural prints are printed on heavy bond paper with a protective 5mil, gloss or matte, laminate on both sides. They are quite thick and durable.
